What is Arcane Foundry?
A merge puzzle game set in a ruined arcane workshop. Tap generators for relics, merge matching pieces into stronger artifacts, fill faction orders and restore six derelict rooms one by one. It is free to play.
How does energy work?
Each tap on a generator costs one energy. Energy refills by one every two minutes up to your cap, including while the game is closed, and rewards can take you above the cap. You can also refill it with gems or a short optional video.
What can I buy, and what is the Patron's Pact?
Optional gem packs, bundles, an energy flask, the season's Expedition Pass, and Silence the Bazaar, which removes the occasional full-screen ads. The Patron's Pact is a monthly subscription: 30 gems a day, a larger energy cap, faster energy and no full-screen ads. The game shows the price for your country.
How do I restore my purchases?
Tap Restore Purchases at the bottom of the Shop or in Settings, signed in with the Apple Account you used to buy. Silence the Bazaar, an active Patron's Pact and this season's Expedition Pass come back; gems and other items that are used up in play cannot be restored. You won't be charged twice.
How do I manage or cancel the Patron's Pact?
In the game, open the Shop and tap Manage on the Patron's Pact, or Settings then Manage Patron's Pact. Or on your iPhone open the Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal and the Pact stays active until the end of the month you paid for. Subscriptions are billed by Apple, so refunds are requested at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Is my progress saved? What if I change phones?
Your foundry is saved on your device as you play. If you're signed in to iCloud, a copy is also kept in your own iCloud account, so a new install on the same Apple Account picks up where you left off. Reset Progress in Settings erases both.
What about ads?
Videos are optional: you choose to watch one for a reward. After the first few levels there may also be an occasional full-screen ad between activities, never during the tutorial and never for anyone who has made a purchase. Ads are not personalised, and the game doesn't ask to track you across other apps.
What data does Arcane Foundry collect?
Anonymous usage statistics through Google Analytics for Firebase, such as how far players get, which you can turn off in Settings under Share anonymous usage data. Purchases are handled by Apple and RevenueCat and ads by Unity. The game never asks for your name or email. The Privacy Policy below has the details.
